Job Description:
We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated ICU/CCU Nurses to join our exceptional healthcare team. As an ICU/CCU Nurse you will provide critical care to patients with severe and lifethreatening illnesses or injuries. Your expertise and vigilance will be essential in monitoring assessing and treating patients in intensive care and coronary care units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU and CCU settings.
- Monitor and assess patients vital signs medical conditions and responses to treatments.
- Administer medications treatments and advanced life support as required.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions treatments and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records including progress notes and care plans.
- Adhere to hospital policies protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in nursing.
- Licensure: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or CCU setting.
- Certification: Advanced life support (ALS) certification is required; critical care nursing certification is highly desirable.
- Vaccinations: Uptodate with annual flu and COVID19 vaccinations.
- Work Rights: Must have full work rights in Australia.
