We are seeking a talented and dedicated Demi Chef de Party to join our culinary team in Novotel Lucknow India. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food quality and presentation while supporting the Chef de Party in daily operations.
- Assist in the direction and supervision of the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations
- Prepare and present dishes with the highest level of quality and consistency adhering to established standards
- Collaborate with the Chef de Party to develop and implement new menu items
- Ensure strict adherence to HACCP procedures and maintain clear accurate records
- Manage inventory stock rotation and food cost control within your station
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Contribute to menu planning and recipe development
- Assist in quality control checks and taste tests
Qualifications :
- Culinary degree or relevant certification in culinary arts
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting preferably in a highvolume restaurant or hotel
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices including HACCP principles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressure environment
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Creativity and passion for culinary innovation
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi or other local languages is a plus
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary
