This Specialist supports GIS database developmentenhancement and maintenance work assigned to the GIS Unit. This resource isresponsible for support designing and developing GIS database componentssupplement to current Enterprise GIS Roads and Highways Spot Online NC CRISand ATLAS implementation to include migration of some components to Azure Cloud.

Description (including but not limited to)
1. Follow guidance of senior GIS dba s to supporta wide variety of activities and responsibilities including product developmentand maintenance customer support tool development and maintenance
2. Has working knowledge of Esri data typesincluding basic understanding of SDE data governance and geospatial metadataconcepts.
3. Has working knowledge of general GIS conceptsrelated to data analysis editing and basic understanding of databasetechnologies.
4. Consult with senior level technical staff anddecisionmakers on an ongoing basis to formulate solutions. Workindependently with customers to understand requirements and collaborativelydevelop solutions.
