Job Description

AASHTOWare Project Support Preconstruction Specialist NCDITT is a mid level technical resource with specialized knowledge and experience in a specific technology.

The LCS team works 100% remotely however our NCDOT customers are not. Team members are expected to be available for online meetings as needed during normal East coast business working hours MF. Contractors may work remotely from within the Continental United States only. Contractors located outside North Carolina will be expected to provide their own PC webcam and microphone. Occasional travel to Raleigh NC will be required.

The North CarolinaDepartment of Information Technology Transportation (NCDIT Transportation)is seeking an AASHTOWare Project IT Analyst contractor for the Letting and Compliance (LCS) team. This selfdriven person will be handling allaspects of the preconstruction modules product quality management whichincludes knowledge bases technical support knowledge support and trainingsupport. This position is responsiblefor understanding business requirements understanding data flow requirementsbetween our major systems performing application configuration (using XML)developing tasks and schedules for delivery becoming a subject matter experton user processes and training to support delivery of the AASHTOWare ProjectsPreconstruction module to the Contracts Standards unit at NCDOT. Thisindividual will identify requirements manage use cases and tests and manageclear communication regarding components to be delivered to the business.Communication with the IT team will include creation of backlog items and dailymeetings in an agile environment. This individual will work with the lead BA tobreak down the design into milestones and work items communicating both to thetechnical team and the business customer. This individual will also performtest validation for functional components ensuring customers are informed& trained with sufficient help & training materials. The individualmust be knowledgeable and experienced with business analysis AASHTOWareProject and preconstruction processes in a state level DOT. This person isultimately accountable to the LCS IT manager for the effective delivery of thismodule and its interfaces to other primary systems in a timely fashion. It iscritical this position be filled as soon as possible in order for the LCS ITteam to maintain the current level of support for this application.
