Job Description

As an Associate Facilities Electrical Engineer you will play a key role in shaping the future of our plant by implementing innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our electrical systems in beautiful and affordable Roseville CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or earlycareer professionals looking to launch their careers in electrical engineering within a facilities management context.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design implementation and maintenance of electrical systems within our facilities including power distribution lighting and emergency systems.
  • Support senior engineers in conducting arc flash studies short circuit analyses and protective device coordination using industrystandard software like ETAP or SKM.
  • Participate in the evaluation of existing electrical infrastructure and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Help prepare technical documentation including reports compliance documentation and electrical system layouts.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure projects meet timelines and budget constraints.
  • Review design drawings applying engineering fundamentals.
  • Assist in electrical safety code compliance and field work data collection and equipment verification.

Qualifications :

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles and concepts.
  • Familiarity with arc flash studies short circuit analysis or related coursework.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Must have the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong ability to read understand and interpret technical documents and manuals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in design operation and troubleshooting HVAC water treatment control systems or chemical systems.
  • 480 and/or 208volt power distribution experience.
  • Knowledge of low/medium voltage power systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Work experience in a clean room or in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.


Additional Information :

  • This role will be working on site in Roseville CA.
  • Position is eligible for 5% shift premium
  • Indefinite US work authorized individuals only.  Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable.

The U.S. base salary range for this fulltime position is $78000$85000.  Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role job location etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
