They are looking for Finance and Billing Officer to join their team in Malaysia which is supporting the AsiaPacific region. As a part of a multicultural team you achieve exceptional service in cooperation with global forwarders and other stakeholders. You will be responsible to ensure that services
performed are billed timely and accurately to their customers and that incoming invoices are properly checked processed and booked into systems. You support the department head in overseeing both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) and any finance related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Billing: preparation and booking of invoices and submission to customers.
- Handle for Account Receivable (AR).
- Handle for Account Payable (AP).
- Accurately record and book incoming/cost invoices.
- Support financial reporting and analysis.
- Analyze COPA reports to monitor job profitability and margins on job/file level.
- Ensure all billing activities adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide the department head with updates/reviews of SOPs and support improving the same.
- Preparation of adhoc reports for the management.
- Support general administrative tasks.
- Provide billingrelated support and respond to inquiries from customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborating with other departments offices/branches and business units within the company group.
- Cooperate with external parties as and when necessary.
- Promoting a collaborative environment and team spirit.
- Other related tasks assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field.
- 23 years of experience in finance accounting billing or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of billing procedures invoicing and payment processing. - Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
- Excellent attention to detail strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Proficiency in common applications e.g. Microsoft Office SAP experience is a plus.
- Willing to take ownership and responsibilities as problem solver.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
