Job Description Logistics Analyst Outbound Role Definition
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing material picking production order closing and ILT operations to improve efficiency reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction. This role involves data analysis process improvement and collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze picking processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement changes to increase pick rates reduce errors and improve productivity
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize picking strategies
- Analyze production order closing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement changes to reduce cycle times improve accuracy and increase productivity
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize order closing strategies
- Analyze ILT operations and identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement changes to reduce transportation costs improve delivery times and increase productivity
- Collaborate with transportation teams to optimize ILT strategies8. Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks in Order processing and MBOM deliverables
Degree Requirement
Engineering Degree with equivalent experience desired
Skill Descriptors
- Proficiency in data analytics tools like Excel Power point Power BI.
- Ability to collect analyze and interpret large data sets Shortage report Bundle List and Sequence planning .
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) SAP .
- Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) .
- Understanding of inventory management principles and practices
- Experience with inventory optimization techniques and tools
- Knowledge of lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with process mapping analysis and optimization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
Requirements:
1. 3 years of experience in inbound logistics or a related field.
2. Strong leadership and management skills.
3. Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
4. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Proficiency in logistics software and technology such as TMS WMS and ERP systems.
6. Strong understanding of logistics principles including transportation warehousing and inventory management
Warehouse Management: Knowledge of the policies processes and systems of warehouse management; ability to effectively manage one or more warehouses or distribution centers
Level Working Knowledge:
- Maintains warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Performs basic warehousing activities such as receiving putting away picking packing and shipping merchandise.
- Analyzes and documents key performance indicators of warehouse management in own area.
- Assists in implementing mechanization approaches and techniques in a distribution center.
Collects and translates the business requirements for specifications of warehouse management system
