Job Description

The Wellness Assistant Director of Sales is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and promoting the wellness offerings of Layan Life at Anantara Layan Phuket Resort. (Based in Phuket)

This individual will be instrumental in shaping and executing strategies that elevate the hotels wellness initiatives ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into the overall guest experience. The Wellness Director of Sales will manage client relationships develop innovative sales tactics and build partnerships that align with the hotels brand values of luxury relaxation and holistic wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize revenue for wellnessrelated services including spa treatments fitness programs retreats and holistic wellness experiences.
  • Identify key target markets including highnetworth individuals wellness influencers corporate wellness programs and destination retreats to drive new business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets by actively soliciting new business and managing existing client accounts within the wellness segment.

Client Relations & Partnerships

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with wellnessoriented travel agents corporate clients wellness tour operators and industry professionals.
  • Partner with international wellness brands influencers and holistic health professionals to enhance the hotels wellness programs and offerings.
  • Represent the hotel at industry trade shows wellness conferences and networking events to increase market exposure and attract highvalue clientele.

Marketing & Product Development

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective campaigns that promote wellness offerings including targeted promotions retreats and seasonal packages.
  • Work closely with spa fitness and culinary teams to continuously refine and enhance wellness services ensuring they meet the evolving needs of discerning guests.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in wellness tourism spa services and holistic health to recommend new product offerings that elevate the guest experience.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor the wellness sales team providing guidance on client acquisition relationship management and sales techniques.
  • Foster a positive team culture that prioritizes collaboration professional development and excellence in service.

Financial & Performance Reporting

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance forecasting and market trends to provide insight and actionable recommendations to the executive team.
  • Monitor key metrics including revenue client satisfaction and market share to ensure the success of the wellness sales strategy.

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record in sales preferably within the luxury hospitality or wellness industry.
  • Strong understanding of wellness programs including spa services fitness and holistic health trends.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Proficiency in revenue management and budgeting principles
