The B2B Digital Sales Team is looking after several commercial systems and programmes to enhance the ongoing business activities of Minor Hotels stakeholders and ensuring requests from travel agencies corporates Global Sales and hotel team members are handled in a timely manner. To serve the needs of Minor Hotels business guests and team members B2B Digital Sales team drives the effective use of all commercial systems related to hotel proactive/reactive and global sales functions across Minor Hotels. This includes but is not limited to the Micros Fidelio Sales Force Automation (SFA) System and hotel Operas Sales & Catering (S&C) System RFP systems Global Hotel Alliance (GHA)s Sales tools Key Account Management tool Account Production Reporting Group Lead Sending & Corporate Transient FIT Contracting/Bidding Coordination and Reporting via the commercial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with hotels to actively push follow up and ensure timely business case and RFP submissions in Lanyon.
- Assisting B2B Digital Sales Operations Manager to answer hotel inquiries related to Global Sales operations provide possible solutions and resolve issues.
- Assisting B2B Digital Sales Operations Manager to proceed Global Distribution System (GDS) rate loading for consortia and corporate hotel programs and ensure business visibility credibility and continuity on GDS.
- Assisting B2B Digital Sales Operations Manager to produce reports and refine B2B Digital Sales database and analytics to support Global and local sales operations as well as managements strategy development.
- Managing access of sales team member to commercial systems (e.g. create update retrieve and disable user login)
- Creating updating and modifying B2B profiles in Opera and other platforms to maintain the most uptodate B2B partner information and production accuracy in Property Management System.
- Continually monitoring and reviewing Duplicate and Suspended profiles for Travel Agent and Company Profiles to maintain the B2B profile database unity and cleanliness in Opera system.
- Providing support to B2B Digital Sales team in relevant team projects (e.g. project researching crossdepartment coordination report generation data collection etc.)
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 4 months internship is required and can last up to 6 months
- Internship commencement date as soon as possible is preferred
- A graduate with bachelors degree in any related field
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Word Excel & PowerPoint)
- Comfortable with proactively learning new technologies and systems
- Being a selfmotivated keento learn and openminded team player with good business sense
- Good concentration communication timemanagement skills with attention to detail
- Be able to work under pressure and enjoy working in a diverse culture environment
- Knowledge in data analytics is preferred
- Experience in hospitality industry is a plus
