Job Description
The WorkWave Team is looking for talented and experienced DevOps Engineers to join our team and play a key role in optimizing our infrastructure and deployment processes using tools such as AWS Chef Chocolatey (choco) Octopus and TeamCity. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of our deployment process and driving efficiency. Our teams are a mix of technologists product managers software engineers QA Engineers UI/UX designers TechOps and DevOps all working together to deliver our vision.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS.
- Collaborate with teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like TeamCity and Octopus Deploy.
- Automate provisioning and configuration of servers using Chef or similar tools.
- Manage software packages and dependencies with Chocolatey (choco).
- Monitor AWS resources and application performance implementing necessary optimizations.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Assist in evaluating new tools and technologies to enhance DevOps processes.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure deployment processes and configurations.
- Provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 3 5 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2 S3 Lambda RDS and IAM at an intermediate level.
- Handson experience with configuration management tools such as Chef.
- Familiarity with package management tools such as Chocolatey (choco).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and Octopus Deploy.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Shell or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch ELK Stack.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate AWS Certified DevOps Engineer would be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
