- Technical Proficiency and Network Design: This includes a deep understanding of network infrastructure such as routers switches firewalls and load balancers. Network Engineers must be adept in designing robust network architectures that are scalable secure and optimized for performance
- Knowledge of Protocols: Proficiency and proactivity in configuring and troubleshooting network devices as well as knowledge of protocols like TCP/IP BGP and OSPF is essential
- Operating Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in operating systems incl Windows MacOS Unix is crucial
- Network Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of switches routing protocols like OSPF and BGP and network security is vital
- ProblemSolving and Analytical Abilities: Proactive ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues is a hallmark of a skilled Network Engineer. This involves strong analytical skills to diagnose problems coupled with a methodical approach to problemsolving
- Experience Palo Alto (incl Prisma Access) VOIP WAN LAN and VPN
- Communication Skills: The ability to break down complex issues into simple understandable language that everyone can comprehend is crucial
Qualifications :
- For this Senior role we are expecting to see at least 8 years of experience and evidence of experience with Pali Alto VOIP WAN LAN and VPM this is a crucial role within the Infrastructure team and one that needs the level of knowledge and expertise outlined.
