Your Career
As a Principal Infrastructure Software engineer within our OnPrem platform team you play a pivotal role in building a new onpremise platform for running Cortex products. You will design and develop an infrastructure that supports billions of events per second storing processing and making them accessible and visible to the user while collaborating with the industrys leading cyber products. Building a highly available reliable and secured onpremise platform that performs just as good as the cloud product is a significant challenge. Your crucial role goes beyond development involving crossorganizational impact collaboration to ensure success. The great majority of the Cortex engineering group is located in the TLV office allowing us to operate at a high pace with short decisionmaking loops. In this role you will need to be creative innovative and demonstrate deep knowledge in Kubernetes conducting research to find new technologies with a cando approach and an internal drive for excellence and improvement.

- No tiny tasks / only bug fixes! You will implement major parts of a new product we are not in a maintenance stage
- SAAS to onpremise challenge! Building a whole onprem platform that will work seamlessly like the SAAS product

Qualifications :
Your Experience
- 6 years of handson experience in Software Engineering
- A minimum of 3 years of exposure running production workloads (AWS Azure or GCP)
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science Software and Computer Engineering or equivalent military experience required
- Proficiency in at least one cloud provider (AWS GCP Azure)
- Proficient with virtualized and containerized environments (Kubernetes and Docker)
- Kubernetes deployments such as Kubespray Helm or CDK8s
- Kubernetes storage solutions such as rook Ceph
- Virtualization software providers such as vmware and hyper v
- Proficient with Configuration Management Ansible preferred
- Scripting and/or development experience with Python Bash or similar
- Experience deploying onpremises solutions (major advantage)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools like Jenkins or GitLab
- Strong communication and problemsolving skills
- Creative thinker independent and a strong team player
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
