Turner & Townsend are looking for a Project Manager to join in growing project management team to work on Pharmaceutical construction projects based in Nantong.
There are long term secured frameworks with national and regional organisations within the following sectors Retail Commercial data centre pharmaceutical warehouse etc.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to progress within our business and support internal business initiatives and development in order to offer our people an allround exposure to the business.
Role within the project:
- To support Project Management Commissions taking responsibility for end to end service delivery.
- To ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Helping to establish the overall success criteria for the project including time cost technical and performance parameters
- Identifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality safety health and environment issues
- Establishing effective project governance processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
- Project planning including producing the detailed project plan
- Advising upon the procurement of resources
- Leading and facilitating the overall crossfunctional project team
- Monitoring and applying performance management techniques
- Managing the change control process
- Monitoring and advising upon project finances
- Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications
- Preparing formal project progress and other reports
- Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages
Internal management accountabilities to include:
- Knowledge management Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each project is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database
- Financial management Ensuring prompt client invoicing and utilising TIC Sheets in order to monitor a projects financial status
- Process improvement Identifying ways in which internal systems and processes can be improved and referring ideas to the appropriate line manager
Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree or above in civil engineering construction management or related field
- 510 years of project experience in hitech manufacturing or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Civil knowledge related to Cleanroom and pharmaceutical plant required
- Design experience is preferred or at least design management experience is a must
- Excel in communication with different parties and problemsolving
- Verbal and written English communication skills preferred
