Lead Planner Industrial and Data Center Construction Projects

• Responsible for the development of programmes baseline management and progress updates.
• Expert in the use of Primavera P6 planning software 90day schedule pointing out shortfalls and recommending improvements.
• The creation of programmes using Critical Path Methodology and reporting against the programme for planning reports and related project controls disciplines.
• Must have experience of planning for the whole construction process from inception through to completion and to be able to create programmes that are underpinned by a basis of programme narrative
• Working with the wider project team in the presentation of programme information to stakeholders.
• Support the monthly update in line with reporting cycle and set in place reports and processes that suit the client or project team including the use of key interfaces and earned value calculations
• Review for acceptance Contractors programmes in line with contractual obligations and manage the relationship and ongoing submission of the contractors programmes.
• Creation and regular production of Progress Reports.
• Attend progress review meetings as required
• Where necessary undertake or contribute to whatif scenarios to show the effect of potential changes
• Manage the interface between the various contracts

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in engineering construction management or a related field
• Expertlevel proficiency in Primavera P6 and a deep understanding of critical path method
• Field experience required for medium/large scale mining/Oil and gas project as a heavy construction contractor and also EPCM agent
• Advance understanding of permits engineering procurement construction and commissioning sequencies 
• Strong understanding of scheduling risk management reporting estimation and contract administration principles
• Familiarity with data center projects is highly desirable
• Advanced English.
