Job Description
Turner & Townsend is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to work on a large complex Data Center project in the vicinity of Groningen.
This role will require a daily onsite presence in the Netherlands.
In this role you will:
- Establish the overall success criteria for the project including time cost technical and performance parameters
- Ensure that quality safety health and environment issues are identified and addressed
- Establish effective project governance processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
- Advise upon the procurement of resources and manage the change control process
- Lead and facilitate the overall crossfunctional project team and coordinate with the client and other consultants
- Monitor and advise upon project finances and manage the flow of project information
- Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages
- Manage and coordinate the MEP design installation and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes standards and regulations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical project management with a focus on Data Center construction or similar largescale critical infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems design installation and commissioning for missioncritical environments including power distribution backup power systems (UPS generators) switchgear and lighting.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Strong leadership team management and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients contractors engineers and other stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a proven track record of overcoming challenges on complex projects.
- Ability to travel to the project site as required.
