Job Description

What will you be doing 

As a DFMEA ENGINEER  you will join Gaydon team to support our activities within the Automotive  sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Create and maintain Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) documents.
  • Conduct prework activities to ensure readiness for DFMEA sessions.
  • Support subsystem and other commodity teams to excel in DFMEA processes.
  • Perform Robustness Check Lists (RCL) for battery packs on MLA EMA and JEA models.
  • Identify technical and process gaps through thorough analysis.
  • Develop and implement strategies for closing identified gaps.
  • Host and facilitate technical workshops to drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to enhance design reliability and performance.

Qualifications :

Experience skills and qualifications required: 

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in DFMEA creation and maintenance within the automotive industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with performing Robustness Check Lists (RCL).
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and gap analysis expertise.
