Job Description
What will you be doing
As a DFMEA ENGINEER you will join Gaydon team to support our activities within the Automotive sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Create and maintain Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) documents.
- Conduct prework activities to ensure readiness for DFMEA sessions.
- Support subsystem and other commodity teams to excel in DFMEA processes.
- Perform Robustness Check Lists (RCL) for battery packs on MLA EMA and JEA models.
- Identify technical and process gaps through thorough analysis.
- Develop and implement strategies for closing identified gaps.
- Host and facilitate technical workshops to drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to enhance design reliability and performance.

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in DFMEA creation and maintenance within the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with performing Robustness Check Lists (RCL).
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and gap analysis expertise.
