The position
We are looking for a motivated intern starting the 1st of February 2025 with the internship concluding on June 30 2025. A shorter duration of the internship can be discussed upon request. You will join our Incept Sustainability development team as a Full Stack Developer Intern. This position offers handson experience with modern web technologies and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects. Incept Sustainability is a part of Rambolls Strategic Sustainability Consulting department. You will be connected to our Incept Sustainability tool which combines employee training surveys and engagement on sustainability to get everyone in the organisation involved.

Incept Sustainability provides an easytouse digital platform for spreading sustainability awareness within the organisation. With interactive elearning courses and insightful assessments we make it simple to educate everyone on sustainability. Additionally leveraging data analytics to identify emerging trends and provide actionable insights enabling proactive decisionmaking and impactful sustainability strategies.

About the Role
We seek a detailoriented intern to assist with fullstack development and code refactoring initiatives. Youll work directly with our engineering team on both frontend and backend development using Next.js 14 (App Router) and Node.js with Express.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Assist in developing and maintaining features across our fullstack application
• Participate in code refactoring projects to improve application architecture
• Write clean maintainable and efficient code
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement best practices
• Debug issues across different parts of the stack
• Contribute to technical documentation
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings

Musthave qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Node.js and Express.js
• Familiarity with React.js and Next.js (particularly the App Router pattern v.13)
• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Understanding of RESTful APIs
• Basic experience with Git version control
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail

GoodtoHave qualifications:

• Previous experience with code refactoring projects
• Understanding of database systems (SQL)
• Familiarity with code design patterns
• Familiarity with PHP (nice to have but not required)
