AECOM is actively searching for a talented and driven Civil Engineer or Process Engineer who is eager to join our dynamic team and contribute to an exciting project in Orange CA. Duties include but are not limited to
- Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and welldefined procedures.
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
- Proposes an approach to solving new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.
- Identifies discrepancies in results.
- Provides guidance to entrylevel engineers.
- Performs work in accordance with agreedupon budget and schedule with little supervision.
- Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
- Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline and 4 years of relevant Process Mechanical Engineering or equivalent wastewater engineering work experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- California Professional Engineering License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five years of relevant water industryrelated work experience as a Process Mechanical Engineer or as Water / Wastewater Engineer
- Basic knowledge of Hydraulics Institute Standards
- Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD BIM360 REVIT MicroStation GIS Hydrologic/Hydraulic models)
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work schedules.
- MS Office proficiency.
