Job Description
Due to significant contract awards within our South East Queensland business we are expanding our team. We are currently searching for a proven Water Infrastructure Planner and with AECOMs flexibility you can base yourself in any of our offices in Brisbane the Gold Coast or the Sunshine Coast.
By joining our team youll be immersed in a strong longterm pipeline of work handling complex largescale projects focused within the region and beyond.

What will a day in this role look like:
- Project delivery and contributing to growing shaping and maintaining our Integrated Water Planning business.
- Business development including client engagement proposal preparation and bid management for clients including major and regional urban utilities developers local and state government etc.
- Proactive delivery of highquality and timely valued water network planning solutions that are focused on flexibility sustainability optimisation integration wholeoflifecycle cost and acceptable risk
- Checking and review of project outputs including project deliverables (calculations specifications reports) through to technical verification and peer review (as appropriate to level of experience).
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and maintaining a high performing engaged and supportive team culture.
Qualifications :

What are we looking for from you
- Ideally 7 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and consulting experience.
- Demonstrated network planning experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options and proficient in hydraulic network modelling of water and/or wastewater systems.
- Understanding of current and potential future policy practice trends technology and information affecting water planning including drivers regulation framework and guidelines.
- Proven track record in the successful delivery of large projects on time within budget and outstanding quality.
- Excellent communication skills and high quality technical and nontechnical report writing.
- Client relationship / management skills and experience.
