Job Description
AECOM is seeking a motivated and skilled BIM Specialist to support the design and construction of buildings within the Buildings Places business line. This position could be based out of any of our major Canadian offices with opportunities for hybrid work also available.
AECOM Buildings Places Canada (BP Canada) is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture all the buildings engineering disciplines landscape architecture urban planning urban design economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects.
Major Responsibilities:
- Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system which provides 3D models using project specifications and content.
- Provide direct project support and production for assigned projects creating drawings as required to meet job requirements using established standards and content. (Revit Civil3D Navisworks etc.).
- Administer Common Data Environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position candidates must possess at a very minimum:
- A University Degree plus 2 (two) years of experience with Building Information Modeling.
Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education for example a Diploma/Certificate (Canada) plus 4 (four) years of experience with Building Information Modeling may be considered.
