Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive project plans ensuring efficient resource allocation and driving successful project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project schedules identifying critical paths and potential bottlenecks
- Analyze resource requirements and optimize allocation to ensure project efficiency
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather project requirements and define scope
- Monitor project progress identify deviations and implement corrective actions as needed
- Prepare and present detailed project reports including risk assessments and mitigation strategies
- Conduct cost estimations and budget forecasting for various project phases
- Implement and maintain project management tools and methodologies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and company policies
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and communicate project status effectively
- Continuously improve planning processes and methodologies to enhance overall project performance
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in planning engineering or project management
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project Primavera P6)
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Indepth knowledge of planning techniques risk management and resource optimization
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to project planning
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification preferred
- Experience working in the Middle East particularly in Saudi Arabia is a plus
