Senior Water Resources Engineer

AECOM is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to support our Water Resources group in El Paso TX that is ready to contribute to challenging and interesting projects that make our local communities safer and more resilient. 

• Technical oversight of design staff and team members for water resources projects including but not limited to floodplain modeling and mapping studies LOMRs/CLOMRs municipal water resources projects and transportation drainage design.
• Participates in project opportunity evaluation consultant selection and the preparation of AECOMs qualification/experience statements.
• Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by senior management.
• Directs project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitors subcontractors compliance with contractual commitments.
• Prepares project work plan scope schedule and budget and communicates these to project team members; monitors/manages project production for compliance with schedule budget and quality objectives.
• May supervise technical professionals associate project managers and design staff including workload and staffing management.
• Monitors and reports financial status of projects to technical managers.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Texas Professional Engineering (PE) license

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8 years of related experience
• Three (3) or more years performing project management and/or business development.
• Working relationship with southwest clients and market.
