Construction Engineer WaterWastewater

AECOM is seeking a detailoriented and analytical Construction Engineer specializing in Water/Wastewater projects to join our team in Dickinson North Dakota United States starting around April 2025. In this role you will be responsible for monitoring $100 million of construction activities and actively implementing onsite quality control procedures of water treatment facilities ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and project specifications.

• Oversee and review engineering designs for water treatment design
• Oversee construction projects from inception to completion ensuring adherence to schedules budgets and quality standards
• Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including architects contractors and environmental specialists
• Prepare technical reports cost estimates and project documentation
• Analyze and resolve complex engineering problems related to water and wastewater treatment processes
• Ensure compliance with local state and federal environmental regulations
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and address concerns
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in water and wastewater treatment

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering and 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education  
• Valid drivers license that allows you to drive in the course of your employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in water/wastewater construction projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license 
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and environmental engineering principles
• Familiarity with construction methods materials and industry standards
• Knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations related to water and wastewater treatment
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
