• £11.49 per hour
• 32 hours per week including some weekend working
• Shits: 9am6pm

We are dedicated to compassionate personcentred care that empowers residents to retain as much independence as possible. Offering a range of services including residential nursing respite and specialized care our skilled team provides comprehensive support to meet each resident’s unique needs.

As a Laundry Assistant at our home your role will include:

• Collecting sorting and washing residents’ clothing and linens to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Safely operating and maintaining laundry equipment ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines.
• Ironing folding and returning clothing and linens to the appropriate residents or storage areas in a timely and organized manner.
• Identifying and reporting any damages or repairs needed to clothing or laundry equipment.
• Following infection control protocols to ensure all items are handled and cleaned appropriately minimizing risks.
• Supporting the housekeeping team as required to maintain a clean and welcoming environment throughout the home.

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking individuals who:

• Have previous experience in laundry / domestic services either in a work or domestic setting.
• Possess excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and care.
• Are organized and able to manage workloads efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Have a teamoriented attitude and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and residents.
• Demonstrate flexibility and reliability including availability to work weekends as needed.
• Are passionate about delivering highquality support to enhance the comfort and wellbeing of our residents.
