We are a respected leader and innovator in the chemical treatment field who have been helping people change their lives by providing them with the tools for a healthy happy and drugfree existence. We are looking to hire a fulltime Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive evaluation and to treat the adult substance abuse population chemical abusers with mental health problems and mentally ill patients.The Nurse Practitioner will screen patients for admission or provide sick calls. Additionally candidate will assess prospective patients for admission to detoxify and rehabilitate to the facility (ACI) for appropriate level of care.
Minimum Requirements:
o Nursing degree from accredited college/university.
o Currently licensed by the State Nursing or Medical Licensure Board as a Nurse Practitioner and in good standing.
o Experience in substance abuse treatment ideal
o Must have DEA license and XDEA license for OBOT locations
o Valid state Nurse Practitioner License
o Master of Science in Nursing
o Meet the qualifications of and practice within the parameters as stated in Chapter 257 of the New York State Education Law Article 139
Minimum Responsibilities:
- Conduct admission and physical
- History and physical exam
- Prescribe medication and drugs
- Medication review
- Examine diagnose and treat patients with medical illnesses resulting from chronic substance use disorders
- Evaluate make recommendations comanage and treat patients medical needs for safe and highquality treatment
- Create a warm and welcoming environment
Compensation:
Salary in the range of $130000 $140000 annually (commensurate based on experience) with lots of growth potential!
