Our Heavy Vehicle Mechanics have the opportunity to work on Kenworth and Mercedes prime movers and Isuzu and Hino rigids for one of Adelaides leading transport brands with a fleet of 50 trucks.
As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic you will be responsible for carrying out servicing and preventative maintenance on trucks in. Your daytoday responsibilities will include:
- Steering and suspension repairs
- Electrical faults diagnosis and repairs
- Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
- Component overhauls
- Driveline repairs
- Preventative maintenance services and repairs
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Technical understanding in all aspects of heavy vehicle repairs
- Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic
- Ability to look outside the square
- Reliable and punctual
- Attention to detail
- Be a team player
- Sound knowledge of servicing and mechanical repairs to Kenworth Mercedes Isuzu and Hino.
- Heavy vehicle license would be held in high regard but not mandatory.
