Job Description

Business Development Manager (BDM) Cybersecurity

What youll be doing:

PGI is dedicated to delivering toptier solutions and services that help build business resilience for our clients. To support our continued growth we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager. This strategic role will focus on identifying highvalue opportunities engaging key decisionmakers and driving new business within the public sector and corporate markets. The BDM will play a critical role in expanding our client base managing complex sales cycles and contributing to the overall growth of our business. Working closely with internal teams the BDM will ensure the delivery of tailored solutions that meet client needs while maintaining a robust sales pipeline and leveraging insights to enhance performance and efficiency:

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to identify and win new business opportunities in the public sector and corporate markets.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with decisionmakers across government departments agencies corporates and other key stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor understanding client needs and positioning PGIs solutions to meet their digital resilience goals.

Market & Industry Expertise

  • Leverage your knowledge of the public sector or corporate market to engage clients effectively understanding their regulatory and operational challenges.
  • Stay informed on industry trends government policies and procurement processes to adapt sales strategies and meet market demands.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Create targeted proposals and presentations that highlight PGIs value proposition in addressing public sector and corporate security needs.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with a consultative sales approach ensuring that client objectives and PGIs solutions are aligned.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by driving new business and expanding relationships with existing clients.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with internal teams including marketing and delivery leads to ensure successful project implementation and client satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback from client interactions to inform solution development and enhance service offerings.

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of business opportunities.
  • Regularly update the CRM system with client information sales activities and status of projects.

On day one you will bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business development or sales role with a focus on the public sector or corporate market.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and managing sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes or corporate buying cycles.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Selfmotivated resultsdriven and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
