Job Description
Join our team as a dynamic and dedicated Translation CAT tools Instructor. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and informative instructions on various CAT tools to participants from diverse backgrounds.
- Develop course materials and resources that aid in the comprehension and practical use of CAT tools.
- Assess participant progress and provide feedback to improve their competencies in using CAT tools.
- Stay updated with new developments in translation technology and integrate them into course content.
- Collaborate with educational coordinators to ensure course content meets industry standards.
Skills and Experience Required
- Time Management: Ability to effectively manage multiple teaching sessions and maintain a structured course delivery plan.
- Customer Focus: Dedication to understanding and addressing the learning needs of each participant to enhance their learning outcome.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively with other educators and technical staff to achieve common educational goals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Technical Experience: Extensive experience with various Translation CAT tools (e.g. SDL Trados MemoQ) and the ability to troubleshoot common issues.
- English Proficiency: High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English to meet the demands of an international teaching environment.
- Translation and Localization Experience: A strong background in professional translation and localization processes.
- Presentation and Teaching Skills: Excellent ability to create engaging presentations and deliver content clearly and effectively.
