Job Description
As an Engineering Manager/ Principal Engineer you would be expected to have 15 years experience in ElectroMechanical Product Development like LV/MV Switch gears & other Power System Products and/or Substation Design. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Electrical Design engineering managing technical leads and overseeing production processes.
You are Expected to:
Lead and mentor a team of electrical design engineers and technical leads fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support and solutions.
Oversee the creation and optimization of electrical designs for power systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Provide handson support and expertise in the production process to ensure electrical designs are executed correctly and efficiently.
Manage electrical design projects from concept or application design through to completion ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards.
Requirements
Have B. Tech/M. Tech/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Have at least 10 years of experience in the design of SLD/3Lines/Control Schematics Cable sizing & routing BOM creation & selection Bus bar sizing & selection Breaker selection.
Have 8 years of experience in the design of electrical control panels MV/LV switch gear panels motor control center (MCC) and power control center (PCC) panels Substations.
To have handson experience in Design calculations structural and thermal analysis. Having arc resistant switch gears would be an added advantage.
Handson Experience in OEMs is an added advantage.
Have Excellent Knowledge on North American standards like UL NFPA IEC IEEE NEMA ANSI/ASME Y 14.1.
3D CAD skillsSpecifically SolidWorks or Inventor.
Demonstrated knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods. Exposure to FAT would be an added advantage.
Valid US Visa is an added advantage.

You will be a great fit if you have: B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. 8 - 15 years of relevant work experience. Experience in designing Electrical power distribution and controls schemes. Prepare single line diagram for PCC, MCC. Knowledge in Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Power distribution and planning. Knowledge in various level of protection systems and earthing systems. Working experience in software s like AUTO CAD (Mandatory), E-CAD /EPlan (Added Advantage).
Education
B.E. / B. Tech / Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. 15 years of relevant work experience.
