Job Description

CRD Careers has partnered with a leader in the Accounting/Auditing space in their search for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. In this role you will play a crucial part in maintaining comprehensive financial records ensuring accuracy and supporting management with vital financial insights to shape strategic decisions.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain the general ledger by recording and categorizing transactions accurately.
  • Handle all accounts payable and receivable processes ensuring timely payments and managing outstanding invoices.
  • Process payroll including tax deductions benefits and maintaining employee records.
  • Prepare financial statements including monthly and annual reports balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure tax compliance by preparing and filing payroll sales and other applicable taxes.
  • Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliations investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Manage cash flow reports and projections offering insights on cash positions and financial trends.
  • Maintain records for inventory and fixed assets ensuring accurate tracking and depreciation reporting.


Requirements

What you need to succeed:

  • 35 years of experience in bookkeeping ideally in a fullcharge capacity with expertise in payroll accounts payable and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Xero Sage etc.) and MS Office especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fastpaced setting.
  • High school diploma required; an associate degree in accounting or a related field is preferred. Certification (QuickBooks Certified CB etc.) is a plus.
