Job Description

Our client a highly reputable Top 25 accountancy firm located in Sussex is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in tax within an accountancy practice and a passion for delivering exceptional compliance and advisory services.

As a Tax Manager your role will include:
  • Preparing individual and partnership tax returns
  • Handling ERS and EMI returns along with forms P11d and PSA calculations
  • Managing client queries and HMRC enquiries
  • Supporting on Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax matters
  • Engaging in tax advisory work
  • Assisting partners with specialized tax consultancy projects
  • Identifying and executing tax planning opportunities
  • Managing your own workflow

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring:
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in accountancy practice
  • CTA qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong client relationship and business development skills with the ability to simplify complex tax topics
  • Technical proficiency including intermediate Excel skills (CCH experience is advantageous)
  • A valid driver s license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel to client sites
