A reputable top 25 UK accountancy firm based in Sussex represented by TPF Recruitment is looking to add a Tax Senior or Tax Manager to its growing team. As a Tax Senior or Tax Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of Personal Tax Returns: Serving a diverse portfolio including sole traders partnerships company directors and clients with rental income.
- Corporation Tax Review: Reviewing corporation tax returns prepared by the accounts department.
- Portfolio Management: Providing tax planning compliance support and managing a variety of client portfolios.
- Capital Gains Tax Computation: Preparing calculations for selfassessment returns and completing 60Day CGT Declarations.
- EmploymentRelated Securities (ERS) & EMI Returns: Assisting in the preparation and submission of returns.
- P11D & PSA Calculations: Preparing and filing relevant forms.
- Client Collaboration: Working directly with clients and partners to collect necessary information for selfassessment returns.
- Ad Hoc Tax Work: Engaging in additional tasks related to capital gains inheritance tax and estate work.
- Direct Liaison with HMRC: Managing communications and inquiries related to personal tax matters.
- Database Management: Keeping records uptodate for monitoring and tracking client progress.
Requirements
Qualifications: ATTqualified or equivalent experience.
Experience: 34 years of tax and accounting experience ideally within an accountancy practice.
Technical Skills: Good knowledge of tax laws and proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word Outlook); experience with CCH software is beneficial.
Organisational Skills: Detailoriented with strong problemsolving abilities and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
