Our client a prestigious Top 25 accountancy firm is seeking an Audit Trainee to join their growing team in Sussex. This position offers handson experience in Audit & Assurance as well as the chance to support a dynamic team of professionals. As an Audit Trainee your key tasks will include:

Collaborating with senior team members on audits.
Supporting various stages of the audit process.
Working on nonaudit tasks such as account preparation and tax calculations.
Learning to prepare statutory accounts and assist with bookkeeping for clients.
Keeping uptodate with industry standards through regular training and meetings.
Providing support for both internal and external audits across a range of clients.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have:

Qualifications: Either AAT qualified or a 2:1 degree in a related field
Software Skills: Experience with CCH (preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
Professional Skills: Strong communication organization and teamwork abilities along with a keen interest in understanding business operations
