About the Position: Currently we re looking for an experience Insurance Broker to expand our client base. You will handle selling insurance plans to new customers upselling plans to existing customers and cultivating lasting relationships. We need you to have extensive knowledge of available insurance products a passion for sales and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be a trusted asset to our clients and their needs.
Main Responsibilities: (Additional daytoday tasks will be discussed during the interview process.)
- Meeting with potential clients to discuss our products and their insurance needs
- Presenting policy details to the client and signing the policy agreement
- Creative mindset at developing marketing initiatives to attract new clients
- Negotiating with underwriters to get the best policy at the best price
- Updating existing policies
- Maintaining client relationships
- Advising clients on risk management initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as an insurance broker
- Strong sales experience
- Familiarity with all types of insurance plans
- Advanced mathematical skills
- Proven ability to work with and achieve goals
- Proficient in English and bilingual in other languages a plus
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Business Suite
- Insurance license preferred but are open to individuals who want to sell and become licensed. We will cover the cost for the course.
