Job Description

TPF Recruitment is representing an independent accounting firm in central Brighton looking to bring an experienced Audit Manager onto their team. This firm prides itself on a supportive work environment and a robust reputation in the charity and notforprofit sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Take a lead in developing the operational strengths of the charity audit team supporting the firm s expansion in this area.

Use strong audit expertise to provide technical guidance and serve as a departmental lead.

Oversee a portion of the Managing Director s client portfolio.

Deliver handson technical support and guidance for audit and accounting teams.

Develop and mentor team members contributing to the firm s growth and client relationships.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Qualifications: Qualified accountant with 5 years of experience ACA preferred.

Technical Expertise: Strong audit and accounting background with a comprehensive understanding of technical standards and ISA315 audit requirements.

Preferred Software: Proficiency with IRIS My Working Papers and Xero.

Communication Skills: Ability to build client relationships and support business development.

Management Skills: Experience managing teams mentoring junior talent and ensuring quality in technical delivery.

Attention to Detail: High standards in accuracy and audit rigor.

Sector Experience: Charity sector experience is beneficial.
