Medsolve have a superb opportunity for a Residential Support Worker to provide care and support in a children s home based in Coalville.
About the role:
- Contributing to the young person s care plans and risk assessments their review and implementation.
- Forming effective relationships with young people their families (if appropriate) and external agencies.
- To ensure the home is kept clean and in a tidy condition adhere to the cleaning rota system encouraging the young people to participate as appropriate.
- To ensure that good quality records are maintained as required with supervision and advice from shift and Managers.
- To maintain and promote residential care work to high levels of professionalism expected by Ofsted.
Requirements:
- Experience in a childrens home setting
- Flexibility to work shift patterns (including sleepin) rota given in advance but likely to be 1 on 2 off
- Full UK driving licence
- All candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet regulations
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent
Salary:
34271 (including sleeps) shifts of 1 on and 2 off working between 9:30am & 11pm plus sleeps paid at 60 plus an extensive benefits package and career progression opportunities.
Job Types: Fulltime Permanent
Pay: 34271.00 per year
