Job Description

Support Worker Day Shifts. Autism Pathways

  • Location: Birkenhead Wirral
  • Pay Rate: £13.18 per hour
  • Hours: Fulltime with shift patterns of 08:0015:00 and 15:0022:00 plus occasional 6hour communitybased shifts
  • Full UK Driving License Required

The Role:

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our adult autism support team launched last October. This role is an exciting opportunity to bring your skills to a truly personalized setting. Working within a 2:1 or 3:1 staffing ratio you’ll follow tailored activity programs that promote residents’ independence and engagement. About the Facility:

Located in central Birkenhead our purposebuilt facility includes three adapted bungalows each offering private fullyequipped spaces that meet the unique needs of residents. Our facility features:

  • Individualized living spaces with private bedrooms living areas kitchens bathrooms and gardens
  • Safety enhancements such as reinforced furniture and hightech medical monitoring where required
  • Separate staff areas to ensure privacy for residents and a comfortable workspace for our team

Role Requirements:

  • Experience in autism support learning disabilities complex behaviours or elderly care
  • Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete it)
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
  • A calm and understanding approach to managing challenging behaviours
