This is a career opportunity with a clear mandate social purpose part of the hotel ExCom and with stellar career perspective.
This a fulltime annual (nonseasonal) propertybased role part of the hotel Executive Committee (reporting to the GM with a dotted line to the corporate office).
You must be onsite on the island during the season and in the offseason it is possible to work remotely.
The hotel is a 5star resort nonbranded operated by ownership which is known in Greece as one of the most soughtafter employers.
They have a reputation for caring as much about their staff as they do about their guests.
The company is in the process of applying performance management processes and policies.
This is why the ideal candidate must have experience in performance management techniques with hardbrandmanaged hotels.
Candidates with only independent or franchised experience will not be considered.
Requirements
Please only apply when you have hotels hardbrand managed experience have numerical insight in managing FTE efficiency payroll and Greek labour law.
- Min. 5 years of professional training gained up to a hotelbased HR Manager/Director.
- Must have experience with brandmanaged hotels (not franchised nor independent hotels) with brands such as Marriott Hilton IHG and Accor in human resources.
- Fully versed with Microsoft applications Word Excel and PowerPoint and can create/structure tabular spreadsheets.
- Speaks and writes Greek and English fluently and has excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Handson experience in HR administration training & development recruitment and payroll.
- Ideally knowledge of Greek labour legislation pertaining to the hotel and catering sector.
- Ideally knowledge of HR administration staff engagement and payroll systems.
- Exceptional business decisionmaking.
- Analytical skills and very wellorganised
- Ideally you are USALI trained by its 11th version; if this is not the case we can and will train you.
EDUCATION
- BA in hotel management from a leading (inter) national hotel educational institute.
- Or a BA degree in Finance and Accounting or a similar major.
- Certification in HR / Talent Management issued by a leading international hotel educational institute.
