Job Description
A welcoming caring family in London (W8) is on the lookout for an experienced rota nanny to join their household on a longterm basis with a start date from early December. They hope to find someone who can be a wonderful addition to their family for many years to come. This position operates on a 14dayson 14daysoff rota schedule. Typically you work 12hour shifts (around 7/7:30 a.m. to 7/7:30 p.m.) while in London. However when traveling or when one parent is away 24hour shifts will be required following standard rota practice. Both parents have demanding careers but are actively involved and supportive. A parent will occasionally work from home the role requires sole charge of the children but you should also be happy with shared care.
Requirements
Right to work in the UK (and already residing in the London area) with proof of eligibility
Completely fluent English or French speaker
Able to feed the pet rabbit on occasion
5 years of rota/ VIP experience
Previous rota experience or experience involving frequent family travel
Willingness to travel with the family as needed
Experience caring for babies aged 16 months and older
Sole charge experience with two young children of different ages in a longterm position
Uptodate Enhanced DBS and be on the DBS update service
Recent Pediatric First Aid certificate
Strong references from recent and relevant nanny roles
Demonstrated history of longterm positions (ideally 2 years in each role)
Available for a longterm commitment
Please note this is a strictly nonsmoking position.
Looking for an experienced and energetic nanny who brings a sporty, organized, and nurturing approach to childcare. The ideal candidate is a qualified professional, adaptable to a rota schedule, and has a track record of long-term commitment in previous roles. Fluency in English or French is essential.
