About the Opportunity:
Our client is a wellestablished digital finance company committed to expanding access to debt for underbanked individuals and businesses across India. With a focus on innovation through capital products partnerships and technology they create a unique platform connecting millions of borrowers to mainstream debt investors. Operating across diverse asset classes the organization serves sectors like microfinance small business loans affordable housing finance vehicle finance agricultural finance consumer finance and midmarket corporate finance among others.
Role Overview:
This position is responsible for originating business and managing corporate relationships in the startup/emerging business segment. The ideal candidate will drive growth by identifying potential clients assessing credit risk and providing structured finance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively identify and onboard potential clients; conduct due diligence and underwriting credit risk assessments.
Prepare comprehensive credit analysis and due diligence notes on potential clients.
Manage existing client relationships providing tailored debt funding solutions and driving business volumes.
Develop sectoral insights through field and client visits to strengthen understanding and service offerings.
Performance Metrics:
Regularly track and analyze financial and operational performance of clients maintaining credit notes and sectorrelated documentation.
Support structuring and execution of structured finance and debt capital market transactions liaising with capital market sales teams.
Lead negotiation and execution of plain vanilla and structured finance transactions coordinating with legal investor and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: MBA or equivalent qualification.
Experience: 1012 years in the banking/financial services industry with expertise in startup debt funding supply chain finance wholesale banking or related areas.
Skills and Competencies Required:
Strong understanding of corporate and credit analysis.
Knowledge of structured finance with proficiency in Excel.
Familiarity with legal frameworks and applicable regulations (RBI SEBI Companies Act).
Excellent negotiation problemsolving and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
