Job Description
- Check all orders to identify the specific material requirements within the job holder s remit. Collate these and raise purchase orders (where applicable) to arrive in good time to meet deadlines.
- Raise raw material purchase orders ensuring accurate pricing (best pricing) best optimisation of product best quality of material and quality of service.
- Ensure that job sheets are clear to understand and fully compliant before they enter the Factory
- Work with the Production Management to ensure all amendments and updates are clearly and promptly communicated throughout the business.
- Develop supportive relationships with raw material suppliers
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and obtain the best value without negatively impacting on service levels or quality
