Job Description
Medsolve are proud to be working with a client who are recruiting for a Children s Home Deputy Manager.
This is a permanent role.
My client offers a rate: Circa 37600

They specialise in supporting Children and Young People who have suffered early life trauma neglect or abuse and may display challenging behaviours.
The role of the Deputy Manager:
To lead the team to deliver high quality care to our young people
To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures.
To review the young peoples care plans and other associated documentation
To act as an advocate for the young person whilst using a positive parenting model
To work with young people using positive support strategies including deescalation tools and techniques using inhouse training (PRICE)
To provide support to the Manager in order to complete day to day tasks
To run the home in the absence of the Manage
To complete oncall duties as and when required
The requirements of the Deputy Manager:
Must have a full manual driving licence
Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
Must be prepared to complete Diploma Level 5 Childrens Residential Care
To participate in further continuing professional development support the needs of our young people
To be open minded empathetic in a calm and professional manner
