We are looking for a Major Projects PreConstruction Project Manager to support throughout the Major Projects life cycle leading coordination activities to drive efficiency prior to construction acting as the main contact for key clients and internal stakeholders for all preconstruction activities.
- You ll be the first point of contact for project preconstruction enquiries (i.e. design) through all communication channels.
- You will review and maintain accurate and current preconstruction programs of work for the projects they support
- Youll be working closely with internal and external stakeholders and clients to support projects delivery to completion on time
- You will gather data through customers and site visits to ensure that the estimating and delivery team have the required preconstruction information
- You will be setting up and maintaining Project Communication System supplied by the Client/EPC Contractor and other parties including internal distribution archiving and storage of all incoming and outgoing correspondence/documentation.
Requirements
When you join us you will go through our topnotch induction and onboarding process and have opportunities to develop further through our in house training academy.
Youll have a proven track record of:
- Maintaining management tools such as Status Report and any other form of monitoring report required by Project Owner
- Partake in relevant meetings to gain understanding of support required for each project
- Support with the creation of preenergisation documentation
- Providing routine updates and reports at an operational and commercial level to enhance client experience
- Assist with various administrative functions in project development and design submission payment stages construction and operations
- Working for an ICP or DNO at EHV voltage levels (33132kV)
- Project Management with a qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. Prince 2 APM PMI)
- The use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office Microsoft Teams SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones tablets laptops etc
- The use of MS Project or equivalent Project Management software
- Full UK driving license.

Driving Licence (maximum of 3 points) CSCS (or equivalent) SPA (Petrol Forecourt) SSSTS Project Management qualification (or equivalent experience) Emergency First Aid at work Experience in delivering multiple electrical projects Experience working within the electrical industry (ICP/DNO/IDNO/CPO) at high voltage levels Experience and good understanding of working with electrical designs
