Job Description
About us
- You will be providing quotations and tenders for private networks O&M contracts DNO/IDNO new connection works and turnkey projects utilising Sinewave s inhouse teams and supply chain.
- You will provide key account management for new and existing customers including toplevel review with the clients managing the flow of enquiries and closing liaison
- You will work with manufacturers to develop partnerships for a turnkey solutions.
- You will follow up quotations and share feedback with the tendering and sales team for unsuccessful quotations.
- You will evaluate supplier and subcontract returns to ensure compliance with the tender specification/documentation.
- Oversee the compilation of the tender return to ensure all elements are accounted for prior to submittal.
- You will provide leadership and support to the estimation teams throughout their careers.
- Identify and provide solutions to areas of improvements
Requirements

- Building strong and collaborative relationships with both internal and external clients and suppliers counterparts.
- Being a supporting role within the estimation team as the goto for technical systems or process enquiries identifying and raising when additional support is required.
- Establishing key aspects associated with client requirements providing quotations liaising with internal departments and submitting final overview of project ability to the client
- Accurately undertake any necessary takeoffs of drawings and schedules and perform data entry into the estimating software selected by the business.
- Working business systems to follow company processes and maintain data integrity.
- Full UK driving license (Maximum of 3 points)
- Qualification in engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience working on major projects
- Experience in creating technical drawings using AutoCAD or google earth
- Strong market knowledge and experience within the electrical distribution sector both HV and LV.
- Experience working with a DNO or IDNO
- Experience of establishing strategic and operational partnerships.
- Wide experience of handling complex and sensitive business / commercial informationboth internally and externally in confidence .
- Demonstrative experience in project management and process improvement
