An experienced Nursery Deputy Manager is being sought by the team at our Murrayfield Nursery the role is monday to friday 38 hrs a week working alongside the Nursery Manager in supporting the day to day running of the Nursery. Offering salary up to 35k depending on experience together with great benefits.
The Murrayfield Nursery is part of CC Nurseries and is based in Edinburgh at our busy 90 place nursery we offer a homefromhome environment led by our passionate and caring team our nursery is filled with handpicked resources (natural where possible) to encourage selfdirected play and discovery. Outside we have a large secure outdoor space including a fire pit a fishpond and an outdoor classroom as well as a separate area for the youngest children to enjoy fun. Requirements
As a Nursery Deputy Manager you will:
Support all teams within the Nursery.
Work alongside the manager in the day to day operations of the Nursery.
Ensure that all teams are providing stimulating and purposeful experiences environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child staff parent and visitor always
Lead and support your teams together with supporting their training needs to ensure best practice at all times.
Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the Curriculum Excellence are followed
Qualified level 3 or above with at least 4 years experience of working in a Nursery and at least 2 years experience of a leadership similar role.
