Job Description

Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen and a proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This role is essential in driving business improvement initiatives and ensuring our company meets its strategic objectives.

Role:

The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs gather requirements and develop solutions that align with our business goals. The successful candidate will analyse data document processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather requirements.
    • Conduct interviews workshops and surveys to elicit and document business requirements.
    • Analyse and validate requirements ensuring they align with business goals and priorities.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation:
    • Collect and analyse data to identify trends patterns and insights.
    • Create reports and dashboards to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Use statistical techniques and tools to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Process Documentation and Improvement:
    • Document current business processes workflows and procedures.
    • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to streamline operations.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement process enhancements.
  • Solution Design and Implementation:
    • Develop functional specifications and user stories for new solutions and enhancements.
    • Work with development teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
    • Support testing training and deployment activities to ensure successful implementation.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
    • Facilitate discussions and workshops to resolve issues and drive consensus on decisions.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project status and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Information Technology or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
    • Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
    • Strong data analysis skills including experience with Excel SQL or other data analysis tools.
    • Knowledge of business process modelling and improvement methodologies (e.g. BPMN).
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Excellent problemsolving skills with a logical and structured approach.
    • Ability to analyse complex business processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
