Job Description

Are you a seasoned culinary enthusiast with over 5 years of experience Our client is on the lookout for a Deli Manger to join their team and bring a fresh perspective to their deli operations. If youre passionate about food dedicated to maintaining high standards and love creating a visually appealing deli experience we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daytoday deli operations emphasizing efficiency quality and standardized procedures for food preparation handling and storage.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards conducting regular quality checks for consistent excellence.
  • Stay updated on local health and safety regulations ensuring compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
  • Train and lead the deli team to provide exceptional customer service focusing on enhancing visual appeal and addressing customer feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative spirit among deli staff providing ongoing coaching and supporting continuous learning and improvement.
  • Adapt to market changes implementing strategies to stay competitive.
  • Develop and conduct training programs for deli staff on food preparation safety and customer service.
  • Implement a strategic approach to deli sales considering market trends and customer preferences.
  • Analyse sales data adjusting strategies to meet evolving business goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of deli inventory sales and customer feedback ensuring compliance with recordkeeping procedures and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in deli management or a related field.
  • Indepth understanding of food safety and hygiene standards with a commitment to staying current on local health and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in training and leading a team to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Experience in developing and conducting training programs for deli staff on food preparation safety and customer service.
  • Flexibility to travel is mandatory.
