About Us
Optiml is a PropTech startup with a mission to decarbonize real estate through our decarbonization software. In April 2024 we launched our product in the DACH region and the UK (soon US) and now were at the stage where we need to ramp up our operations to meet demand.
We spun out of ETH Zurich in 2022 and have recently raised a $4M preseed extension from toptier US and EU funds including Innovation Endeavors (the fund of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt) Planet A BitStone and Kompas. Our software has gained significant recognition in the industry lately winning some of the most prestigious awards for a (PropTech) startup: ULI PropTech Innovation ZIA PropTech of the Year W.A. Tasks
- Manage & optimize our infrastructure to meet our scaling needs
- Work with Github actions to build and deploy to our GCP cloud environment
- Own the software release process and monitor system level KPI
- Simplify and automate the QA process to increase reliability & velocity
- Participate in oncall rotation responding to incidents and refining incident management processes.
- Collaborate with peers on architecture design and code reviews.
Requirements

What you need
- Past experience in startup or scaleup as an DevOps or SRE
- Expert troubleshooter
- Experience CI/CD pipelines Docker InfraasCode Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of security and compliance best practices for cloud infrastructure
- Desire to work in a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
