Job Description
TPF Recruitment Kent s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is representing a Maidstonebased firm of chartered accountants who are searching for an Accounts Assistant/ Accounts Semi Senior to join their team as a key addition to their successful team. As you develop within this firm and role you will take on increasing responsibility in a handson role delivering statutory accounts management accounts VAT bookkeeping and tax services to a range of key clients within the firm. This is a great opportunity to complete your AAT qualification if you re still studying and then move on to either the ACA or ACCA.
- Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders partnerships and limited companies for Director review
- General bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Prepare Corporate and personal tax returns
Requirements
- AAT Qualified or studying ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience
- Experience with a variety of accounting software
- Strong communicational/ relations skills
- 3 years accountancy practice experience

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
