We are looking for a Quality Laboratory Analyst who will be performing and timely communicating the necessary quality tests and analyses required for product safety and quality. (E.g. physical, chemical, microbiological, sensory, net content control methods for products, intermediate products, raw & packaging materials).

Functional Responsibilities
- Proficiency in carrying out the required analyses according to standard procedures
and work instructions
- Responsible for the quality control plan of the equipment under their responsibility
including calibration
corrections
tests related to their working area.
- Monitoring of analytical methods for instruments in production.
Academic Experience:
- Apprenticeship programs or,
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (microbiology, chemistry, food
technology or other related fields)
Operational Experience:
- Previous experience in another laboratory or analytical environment
is an asset
1. Conducting Laboratory Tests and Experiments:
Roles:
Perform chemical, biological, or physical tests to analyze materials, products, or substances.
Follow standard testing procedures or develop new methods based on the needs of the project.
Responsibilities:
Carry out routine and non-routine tests according to specified methods and protocols.
Prepare samples for analysis by collecting, measuring, and processing them.
Use laboratory equipment (e.g., spectrometers, microscopes, chromatographs) to perform tests.
Document test procedures and results to ensure accuracy and reproducibility.
Ensure tests are conducted in a timely manner and within the required quality standards.
2. Data Collection and Analysis:
Roles:
Gather and record data from lab tests to identify patterns or abnormalities.
Analyze data and draw conclusions based on test results.
Responsibilities:
Record test results in lab notebooks or electronic databases with full details of conditions and methods.
Interpret the data collected from tests and identify any discrepancies or issues.
Create and maintain data logs and files for future reference or reporting.
Report findings to senior analysts, lab supervisors, or managers for further analysis and action.
Ensure that the data is accurate, reliable, and consistent with industry standards.
